A warm welcome to Glanville, a small and homely Residential Home in Jersey, which supports independence for lady residents by providing 24 hour care, as well as short stay and respite care.
For all our
ladies, our aim is to provide for them a safe and comfortable environment that
they may truly consider to be their new home.
Glanville is the terracotta building at the St Saviour’s end of St Mark’s Road, with car parking available at the front. Several bus routes also stop nearby.
It is close to town and easily accessible for family visits, and for taking short walks to nearby shops and parks - with no hills to climb.
Although we are really proud of our beautiful gardens, much enjoyed by our ladies, these were comments from a recently arrived resident:
"The staff are wonderful and there is nothing that is too much trouble for them. And I really like it that I can sit in the conservatory or on the bench outside and watch the cars and people go past, and see the children going to school. It makes me feel I have not been shut away or sent somewhere like a convent"
An article about Glanville was written in the 2020 edition of the Jersey Evening Post's magazine PRIME TIME, and it can be found by clicking the link below and reading page 10.
